If you have been outside anywhere in the continental US you know it is “Hot as Hell” 98 in Boston, 96 in Atlanta, 97 in Tampa, 96 in Kansas City, 99 in Dallas, 107 in Las Vegas, 90 in Portland. Any normal American can see what climate change has done to the planet…extreme wildfires, extreme flooding, extreme heat all over, it’s gotten worse each and every year. But Trump with his science education does not believe in climate change, or that humans are the main reason for climate change.
So today when it was 96 degrees in Washington DC and 94 degrees in Bedminster NJ, he decided to let the EPA end climate regulations under the Clean Air Act. Trump did not even visit the Texas towns wiped out by the flood.
Our EPA, which produced a 2000 page report basically saying greenhouse gases are a threat to public health. So today July 29th 2025 the EPA under the authority of Lee Zeldin head of the EPA has no educational background in environmental sciences. His degree is in the LAW he is an attorney, politician and was a second Lieutenant in the Army ROTC fro 2003 to 2007. With this resume he now heads the EPA. His aims are to balance economic growth with environmental protection. With that said today he rescinded the landmark legal opinion that underpins virtually all of its regulations to curb Climate Change.
King Trump has set forth a pattern of failed Presidential policies that are giving our land, water, and air and voting rights over to big business. Yes his billionaire Buddies! The harm he has inflicted on America in six months is unprecedented in our country’s history. The republicans who support him will have no legacy to leave but extreme wildfires, extreme flooding, extreme heat all over America. The worse effects have not manifested itself yet, but it will. Most climate scientists believe we are at a tipping point in global temperature that cannot be reduced unless we do drastic things now.
But Global temperatures will not go down without drastic change in policy. That will not happen because all the President’s men are “YES” men. The only livable city in the US today is Trump’s favorite city San Francisco at 69 degrees today. I find it strange that Trump and the Republicans are against renewable energy. Why? They like the fossil fuel industry because they contribute to Republican campaigns. I also find it strange that using renewable energy has long lasting benefits combating Climate Change and whether its wind, solar or water they usually function for years with not much maintenance. America was an adapter of new ideas and technology, why go backwards. Using coal and oil will not Make America Great Again, it will only help the fossil fuel industry and Big Oil get fat off Americans while polluting the atmosphere.
Trump and the republicans control everything so it seems that “We The People” are in for a long road of extreme wildfires, extreme hurricanes, extreme flooding, extreme heat all over America and the globe. The current Congress will leave our planet Fried, Burnt and Flooded. Then the Billionaires will buy more air conditioning from China and bigger boats and jets, but they can afford it, because King Trump just gave them a Huge tax break. All the while the Trump Tariffs will be a tax on the American people. and all! Hail to the King.
