Post-King Trump Era Is The Party Of No Ideas

Ronald Reagan, the president who reinvigorated the Republican Party, promoted the GOP as the “party of new ideas” on his way to a landslide reelection in 1984.

In the post-Donald Trump era, judging by the fare inside the Orlando ballroom where the Conservative Political Action Conference unfolded, the GOP has evolved into the party of no ideas. They are still rehashing re-litigating Trump’s defeat and seething over the de-platforming of the former president and his supporters.

The Republicans are at it again, trying to restrict voting with new rules aimed at poor Black & Hispanic voters. They want voters to use IDs to obtain a mail-in ballot. America is turning purple and the white majority is fading fast. What that means the white racist Republican Party is going against the ideals and will on the independent voters who helped Biden win the last election. The white racist Republican party of Trump is fading because their population base is shrinking, so dirty deeds are being used to suppress the vote in their favor.

At the first major gathering of Republicans since Trump left office, conservatives spent the weekend clinging to the false claim that Trump’s presidency was stolen from him and raging over the perceived “cancel culture” of Big Tech and the left.

Nearly four months after the election and one month into Joe Biden’s presidency, the politics of grievance has become the near-singular organizing principle of the post-Trump GOP. And whether at CPAC or in statehouses across the country, policy prescriptions for restoring so-called voter integrity have emerged as the primary focus of the party’s energy. This is no more than dirty politics.

“It is a party that has been fashioned in the mold of King Trump — Trump’s message, Trump’s tactics — and it is perfectly comfortable being a party that is defined by what it’s against.” And white nationalist who are racist. The Party has yet to establish a platform of ideas that they represent.

The Brennan Center for Justice is tracking more than 250 bills to restrict voting by lawmakers in 43 states. Benjamin Ginsberg, an elections lawyer who has represented past Republican presidential nominees, lamented the death of the“ideas factory” in the GOP.

I say tell me what the innovative Republican policies have been of late? The answer is: re-litigating the last election and say the Jan 6th riot was not produced by King Trump. This is a sign that the Republican Party is mired in a bit of a policy wasteland and doesn’t know which way to turn to get out.” The few conservative republicans that are left like Mitt Romney are being drowned out by radicals like Ted Cruz & Josh Hawley. Both supported the sedition of a stolen election when there was no proof of election fraud. Alberto Gonzales, the former attorney general in the George W. Bush administration, said “all Americans should be concerned about election integrity.” But with no evidence of widespread fraud beyond normal irregularities, he said, the focus by some in the GOP on the last election is a “big distraction” from issues that are more pressing to the electorate. “I think it’s a big distraction,” Gonzales said. “And I worry that it will continue to be a big distraction as long as a certain individual makes statements that it was stolen.”

Until the red states of America wake up and see the people they have elected have no interest in representing them ”WE THE PEOPLE”. They only represent themselves in keeping their office and collecting a fat paycheck. These Senators and Representatives are against the stimulus pay to their people, against money for the Covid Vaccine, against money for schools to put children back in school. It’s about time for Red States of America to wake up and see the truth and not be sidelined by the politics of grievance of a stolen election. Joe Biden Not King Trump who has provided vaccines for America in record time. Wake up people ask your elected official what they will provide for their people in their state and their district. The capital is now a show but a place of the people’s business where new laws can make life better for all of us.
